Spanning across 12.5 hectares the park enjoys a setting near Cape Town Stadium and the Atlantic Seaboard. Visitors can immerse themselves in views of surrounding mountains and the ocean while enjoying amenities such as walking paths, cycling routes, picnic areas play zones for children, a gym and even a biodiversity garden.

    Though primarily recognized as a family spot Green Point Urban Park has also become known as one of Cape Towns gay cruising areas. Gay cruising involves seeking encounters, with others in spaces—an aspect that has been part of the lgbtq+Q+ community since the early 20th century.

    Please be aware that engaging in indecency or sexual activities, in spaces is against the law in South Africa. Green Point Urban Park is an area that aims to provide an welcoming environment for everyone. It is important to respect the parks regulations and consider the privacy and comfort of visitors.

    Sea Point Promenade; Sea Point Promenade is an area along the Atlantic Ocean. The beautiful walkway and nearby beaches offer plenty of opportunities for strolls during warmer months. While Sea Point Promenade Park is family friendly there are known spots where some individuals engage in encounters or socialize with minded people.     Clifton Strände; Clifton Beaches, located in the suburb of Clifton in Cape Town, South Africa are popular among both locals and tourists alike.     Clifton 3rd Beach holds a reputation within the lgbtq+ community. Is considered as Cape Towns unofficial gay beach. It provides an atmosphere where people can sunbathe, swim, socialize and appreciate the views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean.

    While Clifton 3rd Beach serves as a spot for gay cruising it's essential to remember that South Africa prohibits indecency and explicit sexual activities. It is advisable to exercise caution and respect for others when visiting this beach.

    During the summer months on weekends and public holidays the beach tends to get crowded. To secure a spot it's wise to arrive. Restrooms, showers or changing facilities are not available directly on the beach; therefore it is recommended to come prepared. However there are vendors selling refreshments and snacks nearby.

    Apart, from Clifton 3rd Beach, Clifton 4th Beach in proximity also welcomes the lgbtq+ community while providing a family friendly environment.

    To reach the Clifton Beaches you have an options. You can drive along Victoria Road, which runs parallel to the coastline. Alternatively you can take a taxi. Use a rideshare service from the city center. Keep in mind that parking on the street is limited. It's advisable to use transportation if its convenient for you.

    De Waterkant; This trendy neighborhood is well known for its lgbtq+Q+ scene in Cape Town. It's home to gay bars and clubs that attract lgbtq+Q+ individuals. While exploring the neighborhoods streets and charming lanes you might come across some spots where people tend to mingle. Pay attention to alleys and side streets as they tend to be hangout areas.

    Signal Hill; This iconic landmark offers views of Cape Town and its surroundings. Although its not officially recognized as a cruising spot certain secluded areas around Signal Hill have been known to draw some activity. The evening hours, around sunset are usually when most people choose to visit.
